My Week According to Instagram!

So, if seen a lot of other blogs do this and I really like the idea so here we go!  

First: I got 36 messages from my friends on Monday because we are trying to plan a trip to Jerome!

Second: On Wednesday we filmed the first scene of my Spanish skit I'm working on! That's my car!!

Third: Today I went out shopping with my Dad and little brother for a bit! I wore just mascara and a simple light lipstick. This was also my photo for #photoadaymay!

Fourth: Everybody, this is my little brother Logan! Today in the grocery store he showed me that he could fit his fist in his mouth! 

So that's basically been my week (with a few stressful tests in the mix!) but I'm glad its almost over. I have exactly eight more days left of school! Then I leave for New York for a week! I really can't wait. Hopefully when I come home I'll have a bunch more pictures to share with you!!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

       So the rainy month of April (not that we get much rain here in Arizona, besides a few sprinkles) has passed, and we are now beginning the lovely month of May! If there is one thing I absolutely love about Spring it is the beautiful flowers that come with it!

Cherry blossoms have to be my favorite flower. Sadly we don't get many in Arizona so I'll just have to settle with the cute stamps I got from the post office celebrating The Cherry Blossom Centennial! (:

A little project I've started since I last posted is a Post Project! I currently have several pen-pals but would always be open to more! I have a call out on Marlou's blog and I will put a page for it on this blog once I get the chance! Tomorrow I plan to post pictures of everything I've sent and received lately. I'm really glad I started the project and hope to get many more pen-pals! So if you're interested you can go ahead and look at her blog or email me at sedona.taylor@gmail.com!

I know it's been a little while since I last posted but I've been swamped with tests and exams in school. Good news though, I'm back and plan to update this blog more frequently then ever!

Loving Those Lips

If there is one thing that I always get complimented on it would have to be my lips. Most places that I go to for make-up (like Mac and Sephora) the girls that help me say that they would kill for full lips like mine, but to me they're just something that I was born with. I often get asked how I keep them from getting dry and cracking. Well, I'm going to show you the four things that I use for my lips that I would recommend to anyone! 

 The first one is Neutrogena naturals. This lip balm is slightly minty and really moisturising. I normally apply this under any lip gloss or lip stick that I wear. 

The next one is this lovely lipstick from Clinique called Tender-Heart. It's a nice almost skin coloured color. Perfect for an everyday look.  I apply this over the lip balm. 

The next item is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Lipgloss by NARS called Sandpiper that I bought at Sephora when I got my make-up done for Homecoming this year. I apply this on the bottom lip because it's the bigger one. 

Lastly, is a clear shimmering gloss from the Simple Pleasures line at ULTA. I apply this to the top lip and then rub my lips together 

The moisturising effect of these four great lip products was put to the test yesterday when I went to my little brothers flag football game and it was crazy windy. I was pleasantly surprised to find my lips still soft and moist after 2 and a half hours outside. 

I also thought I'd share a picture of my lunch today at The Cheesecake Factory. My mom treated me after I took an exam! <3

Just going to write a quick post before I head to bed, because I have school tomorrow. But I wanted to wish you all a very happy Easter! I hope you all had cute baskets and dyed eggs!

Update #1: Mill Avenue

Hey Everybody!-

So here in Arizona there's not much to do, but one fun place to go is a place called Mill Ave in Tempe. My friend Nali and me took a trip down there on Friday, since we didn't have school. We originally went to look for a vinyl record (we found a lovely Grease one!), but neither of us could resist the great little stores they have down there. Who could resist cute, unique items?? 

 Without a doubt one of the best stores we visited was Yucatecan Imports. It was a small and crowded store but what made it so cool was that everything there was imported from another country!

These two cards were just too cool to pass up! Also, they were only two dollars!  Especially with the letter writing that I'm about to start doing! These were both from Nepal!

These cute elephant discs were also only two dollars each and made in Nepal! Elephants are my favorite animal so there was no way I could leave these behind!

All in all it was a great trip and I can't wait to go back and get a lovely tapestry they had!
